You can see what's left in Settings → Plan ("5 days left · 42 of 150 rewrites used"), on the Home page, and in the menu-bar or tray panel.
What counts as a rewrite
Each request to the AI counts as one:

A double-tap doesn't waste a rewrite: Veda waits a moment after the first tap, so if a second one follows, nothing is sent until you've finished speaking.
When the trial ends
After 7 days, or once the 150 rewrites are used, Veda stops writing. The next time you press the key, it opens Settings → Plan so you can pick:
- Veda Pro — carry on exactly as in the trial. The AI stays included.
- Veda Licence — pay once and use your own AI key.
Nothing is lost when the trial ends. Your settings, rules, presets and learned writing style are on your computer and are still there when you carry on.
