What it does
It reads the room before it writes.
One key does the obvious thing in every situation — and a few less obvious ones you’ll end up using every day.
Leave the box empty and tap the key. Veda reads the conversation and answers the last message — briefly, the way you would. It never recaps the thread, doesn't make up facts, and asks one short question when something really isn't clear.
Hold the key for half a second and a command bar opens above your text. Shorten, Friendly, Formal, Fix grammar, Clearer — or up to six presets of your own, or any instruction you type. Chain edits, go back a step, then use it.
For reading, not writing. Select someone else's text, hold the key, and get it explained in plain words, boiled down to a few bullets, or translated into your language. The answer is copied for you; their text is left alone.
A chat reply isn't an email isn't a ticket comment. Veda notices which app — and which browser tab — you're in: short in chat, a proper greeting and a clear next step in email, factual bullets in Jira or Linear, the document's own structure in Notion or Docs.
When someone writes to you in Spanish, Hindi or Hinglish, the reply comes back in their language and script. Prefer to always answer in yours? Switch it off and set your language once.
Tell Veda about you in a few taps — your role, tone and languages. Then it learns from the messages you edit before sending and folds them into a short profile of your style. What you tell it always wins over what it learns, and all of it stays on your computer.

In a browser the tab decides — Gmail writes like email, Jira like a ticket. Docs keep the document’s own structure.

After paying you get a licence key on screen and by email. Paste it into Settings → Plan and click Activate. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, who also take care of tax and receipts. Not happy? There’s a 14-day refund on your first purchase.
There’s no copying and pasting, and no prompt to write. Veda works inside the box you’re already typing in: it reads the conversation on screen, knows whether you’re in chat, email or a ticket, and writes in the style it has learned from your own messages. One key, and the text is back where you were.
Almost anywhere you can type: Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Gmail, Outlook, Notion, Google Docs, Word, Jira, Linear, GitHub, and web apps in your browser. Veda reads the focused text field through the system’s own accessibility interface. If an app doesn’t expose its text field, you’ll hear a short error sound and nothing is changed.
Veda reads the field only when you press the key. On the trial and Veda Pro, the text passes through our server to the AI and back, and is never stored or logged. With a licence it goes straight from your computer to your own AI provider. Your writing style and rules stay on your device. If usage sharing is on, we see which features you use, in which apps, and any errors — never your text or voice, unless you send us a report. More in the docs.
Yes. Veda keeps the language you wrote in — a Hinglish message stays Hinglish. With Reply in their language on, drafted replies match the language the other person wrote in, and Translate turns selected text into the language you choose.
Double-tap the trigger key, speak, and tap once when you’re done (Esc throws the recording away). Veda removes filler, keeps only your final self-correction, and turns “question mark” or “new line” into the real thing. Recordings can be up to two minutes. The audio is used only to turn it into text and is never stored.
Open Settings → Plan → Manage subscription. That opens the Paddle customer portal, where you can cancel, change card or download invoices. A Mac with Apple Silicon on macOS 26 or newer, or a 64-bit PC with Windows 10 or 11. On a Mac, Veda needs Accessibility permission — it asks on first launch. On Windows there’s no permission to grant.
No. The writing is done by an AI model in the cloud, so Veda needs an internet connection.
Veda stops writing and opens Settings → Plan so you can choose Veda Pro or a licence. Nothing is lost: your settings, About you and learned style are still on your computer when you carry on.
Veda is signed by us rather than by Apple or Microsoft, so both systems show a warning the first time. That warning is expected — the install guide says exactly what to click.
