Reply in their language
When someone writes to you in another language, Veda's drafted reply comes back in that language — or always in yours, if you prefer.

How it works
With Reply in their language on (it is by default), a drafted reply uses the language and script of the latest message written to you:
| They wrote | Veda drafts |
|---|---|
| ¿Puedes mandarme el presupuesto actualizado antes del viernes? | ¡Claro! Te lo mando antes del viernes. |
| bhai kal ki meeting shift ho sakti hai kya? | haan ho sakti hai, kitne baje theek rahega? |
Hinglish stays Hinglish, Spanish stays Spanish. If a thread mixes languages, Veda uses the one they last wrote to you in.
Always reply in your language
Switch off Reply in their language in Settings → Writing style. Replies are then always written in My language, whatever language the thread is in.
My language
My language (Settings → Writing style) is English until you change it. Type any language — Hindi, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese. It's used for two things:
- Replies, when Reply in their language is off.
- Translate in Edit mode — selected text is translated into your language (or into English, if it's already in yours).
Your own messages keep their language
This setting is only about drafted replies. When Veda cleans up something you wrote, it never changes the language you wrote it in. The same goes for dictation.
